Received a BA in English from
Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and an MD from the
University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel
Hill, in North Carolina.
He completed his residency at the North Carolina
Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill and is board certified in
Emergency Medicine. Dr.
Williamson has been a practicing physician with Eastern
Carolina Emergency Physicians since 2000 but has been an
attending physician at both Cape Fear and New Hanover
Regional Medical Center Hospitals for a number of years.
